Name: Amber Noyes

Tell us about your family:

Amber Noyes: I am married to my best friend, going on 7 years. We have two sweet blonde hair little boys, ages 8 and 5. We also have a sweet 2 year old Lab named Chase!

You have been given access to a time machine. Where, and what time in history would you travel?

Amber Noyes: I would travel to Hawaii during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.

If you could be a super hero and have one super power, which one would you want and why?

Amber Noyes: If I could have one super power, it would be to the power of smile. I believe smiling is a very important part of life, and one simple smile can make a world of difference!

What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime?

The one goal I had set, I have achieved. I promised myself I would graduate college after becoming a teen mom to prove to my children they could do anything through any obstacle, if it’s truly what they wanted. Not only did I graduate college, I am almost finished with my master’s degree!

Who is your hero?

My hero, without a doubt, is my oldest son. He will never know how he saved me and made me the person I am today.

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would that be and why?

If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to the beach. I have never been, but everyone tells me how relaxing it is, and I feel a relaxed break would be nice.

If you described yourself in three words, it would be…

Patient, loyal, and kind.

If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?

A dramatic comedy, for sure.

If you could be anyone other than yourself, who would you be and why?

I couldn’t imagine being anyone else, but if I had to be, I would want to be my husband. He is so giving and selfless when it
comes to the kids and myself, so having a chance to be him would allow me to appreciate him that much more!

Tell us about your family:

Rachel Renee Rickard: There is honestly so much I could say about my family. We are a large group of not so normal people! We love time together most of all. In the past year, we have lost two very important members of our family and that has done nothing but brought us closer to one another. In November, I am gaining more family that has been around most of my life. There is no doubt that my entire family, both sides, mean the entire world to me.

You have been given access to a time machine. Where, and what time in history would you travel?

Rachel Renee Rickard: I love history! I am not the best a remembering specific dates and events but I love reading about it. I think I would travel back to the 50’s! Just to be in America during this era with a love for signature vehicles, poodle skirts, jukebox machines, and letterman sweaters.

If you could be a super hero and have one super power, which one would you want and why?

Rachel Renee Rickard: I would of course want the power of time travel! Jump back in time or even forward.

What is one goal you would like to accomplish in your lifetime?

Rachel Renee Rickard: I would like to achieve my doctorate of education in P- 20 and Community Leadership.

Who is your hero?

Rachel Renee Rickard: My aunt Cindy was without a doubt my hero. I can’t exactly put into words how much she impacted my life. She was a light everywhere she went. She was a wonderful hero in my life and I am so grateful for our time together.

If you could visit anywhere in the world where would that be and why?

Rachel Renee Rickard: I use to have a huge dream to travel. So many places in and out of the U.S. that I wanted to explore to. But if I had to pick just one it would be Rome, Italy. I can’t really say I have a specific reason but I just think it is beautiful and so interesting.

If you described yourself in three words, it would be…

Rachel Renee Rickard: Resilient, Loving, & Trustworthy

If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?

Rachel Renee Rickard: Though I am not a drama person (I prefer romantic- comedies) my life story would be a drama! I have gone through some hills and valleys in life but love exactly where I am today all thanks to those life lessons!

If you could be anyone other than yourself, who would you be and why?

Rachel Renee Rickard: Here is your most cliché answer: I honestly would want to be me. There are so many actress, writers and musicians that I absolutely love but I can’t say I would trade my life to have theirs. Love my family, my job(s), my education and the other thousands of things this crazy life holds for me!
